and on to Black Oaks where we stayed all night. The next day we were supposed to be trucked to Conover on the Wisconsin R. but we prevailed upon the boys to pay the extra 2 bucks & had the trucker haul us to Eagle River farther down on the Wisconsin R. This also wouldn't meet the Doctor's approval so don't ever mention it to him. We weren't trucked till afternoon so we had time to play a little ball with some neighboring resorters in the morning. That afternoon about four oclock right after unloading at our camping place near the dam 4 miles below Eagle River, Bob & I played black jack (10 pts) to see who would get supper. I won - for which I was very glad as the camp site was right in the sun & cooking over a fire with the sun beating
