#3.-Phila. GENERAL REMARKS:-The three-a-day section is again rather weak, but the two-a-day part of the bill is excellent. Both the press and the patrons were fully satisfied with the diversity and general interest of the bill, and WINSOR McCAY was easily the strongest attraction with CAPT. AUGER a close second. SIMON AND GARDNER were their usual big hit, and the WESSELYS would have made a stronger impression had not so much of their act been done by others, some of the feats even by the three-a-day performers. More than that, they all fumbled and fozzled a good deal, showing that they were out of practice. The act ay pull up later in the week, but at the price they should deliver a higher grade of goods in their particular line. Business is excellent.-- CUTS IN THE SHOW:- CAPT. GEO. AUGER & CO:- Mention of Caruso and the monkey-house. "Gee". WILLIAM TOMKINS:-Quotation from the Bible, "Let there be light" FEJ
