RE: The proposed re-routing of Highway #61 through the City of Fort Madison, Iowa

Dear Mr. Humphrey:

Please be advised that the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People issued a statement with respect to the above-mentioned matter at the hearing held thereon in Fort Madison, Iowa, on Thursday, January 27, 1972. The statement was read at the hearing and made a part of the record thereof.

I would appreciate it if you would advise me of the Commission's action with respect to the re-routing of Highway #61 through the City of Fort Madison, Iowa, when such action is determined, so that I can act accordingly.
