Equitable Life Insurance Company of Iowa Des Moines Monday Oct. 21 1935 Dear Grandmother, I am having Holloween party the day before Holloween night the 30:..Mother went to the culb {club} and did not see her froe almost 3 days. I was quite lonesome here at home. We had homemade noodles that mother made. I hope the{y?} will not make you hungry. Daddy said that the{y?} wear {were?} better than the store ones. We got our report cards. The teacher told us that if we were going to get A or not because it was the end of the week and guess what I got. I did not get C or B I got A. We get them Wednesday noon and I can hardly wate {wait?} till the T- ime {?} comes. Mother is going to give me a 5 cents fore every A I git {get}. Lots of love, Mary Frances Whitley
