Saving...
hoping for the slight chance of getting home by the 1st of the year yet. This place is still in the process of closing & won't be long now. There's approximately 700 men left of the average 9,000 personnel. I've been enjoying myself the past few months. Been playing about 2 to 3 dances per week. It sounds as though Washington is really going to be a little Metropolis. I liked your ideas on a few more added improvements also. Push the idea of a swimming pool & ballroom Ha! Well, Dave, I'll say So Long for this time. Oh yes, there is a small change in my address. Its Sqd. C instead of C-1. It's nothing important. Tell Bill, he done a nice job with the S.B. during your absents. Your Friend Max [Cpl. Max D. See]
